Last month I didn’t really have much of an update to give, and since I gave three updates in October, I skipped a month, but here we are again so, hello! I know I promised some pictures of fall, and so they will be at the bottom (along with a new audio sample) of this post. It’s supposed to be a winter season, and I was going to attach winter photos as well, but climate change has been making it harder to capture those. Anyway, enough about all that, let’s get to the updates.
The first big update is more of a show rather than a tell. I have added the new sample chapter of The Ripper’s audiobook/drama below. Not only will you hear the new narrator Nick Russ, who I think has been doing an absolutely fantastic job, you will also hear the audio changes. I added panning to the track in order to make it more immersive, so be sure to wear your headphones or put it on your surround sound system. I also added more sounds, so hopefully it makes the experience even more pleasant.
The second update is I’ve begun writing a new book. I have a lot I want to accomplish this coming year and so if everything works out, here is what you can expect in the coming year. The Ripper’s Audiobook’s official release, Afterworld’s Audiobook official release, The Desperado’s Tale paperback & ebook release either by the end of next year or by Q2 2023. Finally, the new book, which will be a novella of around 20,000 words you can expect in 2022. The novella will be an exclusive read for those who sign up for my mailing list. I’m expecting its release to be in 2022, but the exact date is unknown. The only details I can give to you is that it offers a glimpse of what happened on Afterworld before the first novel and a view of the war that led to the Dark Creators rise to power.
I think that’s about all I have to say. If you want to be one of the first to read the novella, then sign up for the mailing list now and I will send it to all current subscribers on the day of its release. Thanks again for your support. Enjoy the audio sample, and as always, stay posted!
