Good evening, day, or whatever you would like to define as the time you are reading this on this spooky month. So, as you may have noted, I moved to New York this past month. Because of this, I have had little time to edit the audiobook, but I’ve been working on it when I’ve had the chance. I’m hoping The Ripper’s audiobook won’t be delayed beyond the end of the month, but I’m having to work a temporary job this month with lots of overtime, so we shall see. I really wanted to get it out this month, but if not, you’re looking at a November release. Life is always uncertain and chaotic.
In response to an email from a potential reader, I’ve been asked how long my audiobook will be. I appears it’s going to run between 8-9 hours when completed. As of now I have over 5 completely finished. You may know that I recorded a lot of the audiobook myself. On the recording side I’m about 99% done, but there is a lot to consider and complete on the editing part when adding in Foley and background sounds. I’m working on it as much as possible, so hopefully I’ll make decent progress when all my other work-related responsibilities out of the way.
I’m still looking to go hiking with some friends in the Adirondacks at the end of this month and bring you some outstanding pictures and views. We’ve been trying to find a good time to go, but no one has committed completely due to scheduling, but it’s looking likely to be at the end of the month.
On one last note, I started hiring voice actors on Fiverr for Afterworld’s audiobook. I know I’m not completely done with The Ripper’s, but getting the actors out of the way is a big part, so hopefully the rest of it goes pretty seamlessly. Anyway, that’s all I had to update you with at the start of our spooky month. Leave some comments, or send me some messages and I will get back to you soon.
As always, stay posted!
