I’m going to get the bad news out of the way first. I’m going to disappoint many of you, but The Ripper audiobook will be delayed until this summer. Date unknown.
As I’ve said previously, it takes a lot of time and energy to go through and edit the individual sound files to match while doing my own recordings. The reason it’s being delayed is due to the good news. The Ripper update has been released (ebook), and the paperback is in the process of being sent to the stores. This impacted the audiobook because I’m having to change many lines, which means going through the files I already have mostly completed, re-recording them, and realigning the BGN/SFX to fit with the new narration. Yeah, that’s not something I’m looking forward to at all.
The second bit of good news is I’m currently putting the final edits together on Afterworld’s 2nd edition. It should also be released by the end of the month (including paperback). The audiobook ETA is unknown at this point. Before the end of the year is my best guess. I can’t really tell you otherwise. I don’t want to end up promising a date only to delay it again. I’m not trying to be the next CD Projekt Red here. What I can tell you is that when the audiobooks are out, they’ll be out and ready.
With that all said, head over and grab yourself a copy of the paperback and ebook editions that are either out or will be by the end of the month! Thanks again for the patience and the kind words I’ve received. As always, stay posted!
